Make photographed documents easier to read
This tool detects the document boundary, straightens perspective, evens out uneven lighting, reduces shadows, and sharpens text edges. It is useful for receipts, notes, forms, book pages, and scanned PDFs.
How to use it
- Select a JPG, PNG, WebP, or PDF document.
- For a photo, check the detected boundary and adjust the corners manually if needed.
- Choose an enhancement strength and process the document.
- Compare an image result or download the enhanced PDF.
Privacy and limitations
All processing happens in your browser. PDFs become image-only PDFs, so searchable text, links, and forms are not preserved. Severe blur, glare, folds, or missing detail cannot always be restored.
Frequently asked questions
Does this use server AI?
No. Document detection, lighting correction, perspective mapping, PDF rendering, and sharpening run locally in your browser.
Can I correct the detected corners?
Yes for image files. Switch to Manual adjustment and drag the four corner handles. PDF pages are already rectangular.
Will it recover unreadable text?
It can improve mild blur and shadows, but it cannot recreate detail that was never captured.
